The goal of this post is not to intentionally make anyone mad, put off or making you feel inadequate where linux is concerned.
However, it is assumed you ARE VERY familiar with linux - no matter what distribution you use - this software is NOT for a newb Linux user - it requires an above average knowledge and skill to install, run and maintain. Not only linux, but php, mysql, html and about 15 other packages that it takes to run webcp.
These forums contain ALOT of information WE all have already encounted - if you have searched forums or googled for your problem - then by all means post your problem - but you need to search the forums and google for your problem FIRST.
The install instructions for the current distributions of linux Web-cp runs on are located here: http://www.web-cp.net/manual/index.php/InstallationInstructions
Did you find something wrong with the install instructions? Post the problem IN DETAIL - what you encounterd and where - and we will give you a solution and we will correct the instruction sets.
Posts like this: | Code: | | I installed webcp but nothing happens |
This will only get you blank stares and no responses. Theres just not enough info to be able to answer.
Right along the lines of "not enough info"
The opposite "TOO much info"
Don't give too much info - this will only serve to confuse the root of your problem.
When your asked to post an error or config file - please use the BBCode.
it makes for easier reading and proper formatting.
For a free webhosting control panel package, you can't expect instant responses. But if you pay us $1500 for it, I'm sure we can arrange somthing. |
